Found this handmade frame this weekend at an estate sale. Former owner was a TVA Pipe Fitter, woodworker and all around do-it-yourselfer!

Has 20" of clearance to top of base. My bottle jack is 9" leaving approximately 10 or so inches travel with bearing separator, notched plate, etc. He also had many different lengths and diameters of round stock for driving. Certainly suits my needs for miscellaneous bearings, etc.

I was going to purchase one (or build) but found this dude for $30. Couldn't resist.
Actually made 3 passes through the tool area, never saw it until another buyer and I were standing near it. He said "what is that thing?". Looks like some kind of press. He walked away and I grabbed it quick! This estate had tons of cool things. I grabbed lots of other items too.
Missed a nice older welder (by ~5 minutes). Dang it!!

Not necessarily a Maintenance and Repair post but does relate to the many bearing posts out there on this forum.

Edit:
After taking a closer look at the picture, it's certainly not a "good" one.
I will take some better pictures this week for anyone interested.
