Yes, I see a Shopsmith-mount planer. i think there have been 1 or 2 other Power Pros on CL. But still a rare item to turn up used on CL. Sounds like neither owner used them very much if at all.

It is really a Shopsmith Mark V Model 520 with a Power Pro Headstock. It does not have the double tilt feature.

Nonetheless, it is certainly worth every bit of the asking price even with a 10 hour drive to go get it.

Don't bother. That's not the machine for sale. I was suspicious and google image searched the image for the same image. It came from a woodworking mag review of the new Mark 7. I then texted the owner and asked if the pic was of his machine. He replied with a pic of what he actually has, which is an old Mark 5.
