I made this truck for a nephew when he was 5, about 35 years ago. It stood up well to some hard "truckin".
He recently gave it back, so I decided to refurbish it for the 5 year old grandson of a good friend. I repainted quite a bit of it, made a new grill, added crests on the doors and rebuilt the stake sides. The SS band saw was handy for that.
I think he is going to like it.

That is awesome. Love the little details on the dash and of the transmission/engine. It is wonderful that it will get to be used by another little boy.
