Shop (schoolhouse) build

Post by jepello »

I appreciate all the kind comments on my shop, turned out much better than I expected. I know you all like pictures so thought I'd show some of the process.
I never claimed to be fast, you may see here that more than a couple seasons passed to git er done.
Thank goodness for pneumatic tools and friends that will work for beer!:D

I have to say, I absolutely love it! I never thought of making a workshop look like an 1800s school house.
The sickness is spreading:
Mark V greenie 1954
Mark V goldie 1962 (I think)
Mark V grey 1978
Shopsmith attachments: 2 Jig Saws, Bandsaw, Jointer, Planer. Shaper tooling, many adapters, arbors, etc.

And inside...

Of course a shop is never big enough! Most of my stuff is on wheels, including old heavy Craftsman 10" tablesaw (behind shopsmith).

So far just a kerosene heater. I`m in Georgia so heat isn`t a big issue. But I am hoping to insulate and install AC, summer is brutal.
