Admin: Need Break Btwn Post and Sig

Post by kenbu »

Dear Admin,

The new flat look takes some getting used to, but I'm sure we all appreciate the update. One ergonomic issue I see is that posts and signatures are harder to differentiate than before. Seems to me there should be some obvious break, like a 1-2 in. horizontal line, to help keep things from running together. This wouldn't break the new look and feel, but would improve readability greatly.

Thanks for all your work keeping the site running and the software up to date.

I just edited my sig and put an underline line at the top of my sig. Now it looks just like it used to .... :D

I just gotta do this because I need to see what happens. I'll click on SUBMIT after the period and see what we get. Is this not enough blank space?

Yes, I find that too. In shopsmith1 there is no break, in prosilver there is a very fine line but it is hard to see.
To do my bit I added a row of dashes to my sig

Aah, I went back to look at kenbu's post. He does not use the Signature Option. He simply typed in his name after a couple returns.

His post is in a neatly prepared letter format with greetings, body and salutation. :)

I've added a quick fix separator line before the signature. I'll take a further look as I work on the style revision.
