New Project Videos

Post by algale »

It would appear it isn't just the Forum that has had a makeover. Poking around on the main Shopsmith site I noticed two new (to me) project videos, a clock http://www.shopsmith.com/mark7site/functions.htm and a train. http://www.shopsmith.com/mark7site/train_functions.htm
To see the videos, hover over the different steps and then click and short video will play showing how the function was used for that part of the project.

Curious about one thing. On the clock video, the router is shown cutting a rabbet for glass. The piece being routed is trapped between the fence and the router bit. Thought this was a no-no.

Wow, good find. I had "hovered" over the different functions of the clock, but I DIDN'T know about the videos!

Thanks!

Yes, I noticed the improved quality too. I hope Shopsmith has plans to post more and longer high quality videos of the Shopsmith in action. If live demonstrations help sell these, then high quality videos (essentially infomercials) of the Shopsmith in action might be the next best thing.

Yes, very impressive short video presentations. I do hope that this evolves into a new series Sawdust Sessions.
