Mark V Paint.

Post by Bob F »

I was lucky enough to find some Shopsmith equipment at a local auction. I have found the equipment to be in pretty good shape and have everything gone through and tuned up but some paint is called for. Are there any rattle can paints available to bring back the great appearance of Shopsmith equipment? I have been very impressed with the quality of the equipment as I have taken everything apart to clean and check its condition. If everything goes well tomorrow I will see how these things work. I have had my Shopsmith since 96 and was very pleased to add a belt sander and thickness planer to the collection.

I believe you are in luck. I guess it really depends on what colors you need but this link will show you what is available through Shopsmith in rattle cans.

In addition, Rustoleum has some paints that are close (for complete paint jobs) but not close enough for touch up of original paint.
