Speed Increaser Opinions?

Post by algale »

Do you have a speed increaser? Do you like it? Does it have uses other than allowing under table shaping (and maybe routing)? Anything to look for if buying a used one?

Thanks in advance and please don't respond telling me to get a Power Pro/Mark 7. I'd love to but it isn't part of the budget.... :(

I have one and think it works great. Not sure why it is not more popular as an under mount router set up as it basically does the same thing.

Thanks, superpop. Doesn't seem to be an accessory that gets much love or attention. The one I was potentially looking at got sold anyway.

Just in case another one comes up for sale...I like mine, too. Set up is a little time consuming, but not too bad, and so far it has worked well.
