2014 Year End Report

Post by dusty »

The floors are all swept.

The machines are all oiled and waxed.

The hand tools are all back where they belong.

The clamps are all back on their rack.

The bench tops are all clear of what does not belong there.

There is a stack of zci that need to be finished but other than that I am ready for 2015.

With that I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and just as importantly A Happy and Healthy New Year.

Feliz Navidad y próspero Año Nuevo

or however you would prefer to say it - the Wishes are all the same.

Well I am Happy to say the shop is a total mess I have 12 Shopsmiths in my garage in various states of usage. It has been a great year. I sold 17 shopsmith's this past year mostly shorties (with a lot of help from Fred Sheldon) and have managed to pay for everything currently in my shop. I have learned a great deal about what not to buy and what not to try and fix this past year. I absolutely love the 10ER's and could settle for having just 3 of them in my shop and be complete. So total disarray and I can't find a couple hand tools (I know they are out there just under what or between what I can't find them yet. But Happy to have this problem and looking forward to a more prosperous 2015. So Ditto on the Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and special thanks to Santa aka Fred Sheldon ! :D

Well done Dusty! And Merry Christmas to You!

I have long had a tradition that on January 1st and July 4th or at least the last working day thereof I change the oil in my air compressor, clean and lube the Shopsmiths, grease and make repairs to my other woodworking equipment. I think it is why some of my equipment is now pushing 30 years old and works like new.
