Miserable Customer Service

Post by Gene Howe »

I would be remiss if I didn't bring this to the attention of my fellow woodworkers.

Let's point out for those who don't want to click the link that we aren't talking about Shopsmith.

Too bad that Peachtree would give a customer such difficulty, especially considering in the hobby of woodworking this is a small purchase. However, this seems to often be a standard procedure for some sellers. Rockler has tons of retail stores near me, but I was told that the product I had, a sharpening stone was a special item and could only be returned to the catalog address. Now, this was an item I wasn't thrilled with and not a defective item.

By the way, this switch seems like the standard contract manufacture item. I have the same one purchased through Rockler. It's amazing how much overlap there is in these items. Rockler's highly rated HVLP sprayer is the exact same model sold at Harbor Freight.
