Two projects down
The boss has been after me for some time for a new dining room table she has designed and so I finally got to it. Of course now she needs a coffee table and two end tables to match ?!? I finally found a source for the 12/4 and 16\4 alder for the legs. The outside wrap of the frame is Honduran mahogany. Also finished another picture frame which is alder and padauk.

Re: Two projects down
Kudos to both Boss and craftsman! Very elegant.

Great ones! If my 'boss' sees this, she'd want exactly the same!

Re: Two projects down
I ordered the glass at 5/8 with the bevel. I was concerned about the fact that it is only supported on the edges.

Re: Two projects down
Totally inadequate comment, but Very Nice Work!!!
At 5/8" I doubt you need to be concerned with support. Now just do not drop a pointed, heavy object on to it.

Re: Two projects down
The other concern and reasoning for the 5/8 was the thickness of the glass at the edge after they did the beveling
