What forum style does everyone seem to be using and why? I thought I was content with shopsmith and after today it's all changed!

I'm using subsilver2. I like the layout and color scheme.
Re: Forum Style
Maybe your has looked like that, but mine changed yesterday! I don't care for this style format at all! If I missed one day looking at the forum, I'm sorry. Did the Software change one day ago?JPG wrote:Been that way ever since the software change.charlese wrote:Me too! The new tile I get is titled "phpBB" And it's in an all blue and white color!!!!!

Chuck, sorta kind but no.
ADMIN has made a update of the software for security reasons. I'm GUESSING that ADMIN has the other styles turned off till he can redue the changes he made at the beginning.

Yes the software was updated for the reasons Beeg mentioned.
The 'styles' were 'reset' as a result. Hence the different appearance for some. I somehow avoided that! I use 'shopsmith style'.
The 'fix' is to set the 'style' again in the user profile to what it was 2 days ago.
This has also been a learning experience for Admin and he has said he will try to minimize these problems when the software is updated in the future.
Apparently many of the tweaks he(?) made were negated by the update. I think she(?) learned how NOT to tweak.

Re: Forum Style
Thanks Guys!! Thought I was using "Shopsmith format".
Enough bitching from this guy for a while. This OLD, grey grasshopper is presently being challenged enough by shop work (the rocking chair build) and really don't need more challenge with the beloved forum.

Re: Forum Style
You are "right on" Charlese. I guess I should build either a rocking chair or some other equally challenging project and just let the forum evolve.
