Using Kreg screws question

I've started building a 1/2 wall for a kitchen re-model. It's a 2x6 frame and I plan on using Kreg screws to build it. How many screws would you recommend across the joint between the sill/top plate and the verticals?

If you are using the regular kreg jig the answer is none.

If you have the the HD jig then go for it.

I just got one this past summer, however I never got past testing it out to make a 2x4 box. Medical reasons got in the way of the bin structure I was planning on doing... that is now on tap for this year. The compost bin I have in mind will be a good test of how they really work as it will be an 8' by 8' by 8' size.

I have used the regular Kreg jig to assemble 2x projects (they are designed for up to 1 1/2" stock), including new back stairs for for my friends house.
For 2x4's I use two screws per joint so for 2x6's three should be good. If you want you could even add a couple more from the opposite face.

3 worked well. It's amazing how well the pocket hole joinery works.

I've put together 2 work benches and started an SPT holder with 2x4s as the frame, using the Kreg K4 jig, however I glued (Titebond II) every joint. just in case I do enjoy the system though I think I would like the ease of the K5 better. Two screws seem like a good deal so I would presume three is better. I did use the right angle clamp but it was a very tight stretch on the 2x4s. Would have liked another 1/2" travel.
I secured the top of one bench from underneath(as in their plans), but the other I just drilled holes around the edge large enough to hide the screw heads, securing it from the top.

Everything has been pine, so not yet used the fine thread screws.
