Twenty years ago we bought a King Size heated blanket with dual controls. After one year one side stopped working. So we were stuck with a blanket that heated on only one side. Rather than replace it with another one she suggested a twin bed size. The cost was 1/3 of the King. You get the picture. Buy two for your King Size bed and if one goes just buy another twin. Duh. I should have thought of that. And if you wait until the end of the year you can pick one up for about $20.

Good idea, We've been using our schnauzers (2)to warm up the bed. Throw them up there a few minutes early, then try to put them on the floor! Does not always work though...
