Looking at the "New to Shopsmith" thread I see a safety feature I don't have:

You need to round those 'sharp' corners off!!! And use batteries for power!(also eliminates trip hazard) And plug up those holes that allow 'fumes' to escape.

Also paint it in alternating diagonal black and yellow stripes.
