Nice work!

EXCELLENT!

Congratulations on the jig and case. Yes, the glass does get to be a bit pricey :o . I'm lucky enough that a local shop gives it to me at cost (maybe even less)

Be well,
Ben

It turned out great!

So what process did you wind up using to make the cuts? Since you are sanding with a jig in the photo, I'm going to guess that you also used it to make the cut, in table saw mode.

Makes me glad I have the Delta cut off saw. I can always cleanup the cut with the disc sander.

How does that help with a 22.5 degree miter?

Misstated, actually it's a compound miter saw. Guess I should really double check things before posting and it does have its limits as far as board width but then I also still have the radial arm saw. But that doesn't really address the original post. Back to the quiet room.

'It's' not about board width. Tis a matter of angle range(typically +-45 degrees plus a 'little'. That miter requires a 67.5 setting(normal setup).
Yes there are tricks by using wedges and right angle fences etc.

Quiet room not necessary. We all BTDT! :D
