I'm rebuilding a Mark II and wondering how to put the spring back in the head stock lock. The old repair manual is not helpful.

When you get it figgered out let me know. I been scratchin my noggin(unsuccessfully) for months over this. Not sure how it is supposed to work either!

Both 'questions' need answering. The spring is a recent acquisition(mine did not come with one).
