10ER Cast Iron Extension Table

Post by jsburger »

Has anyone ever seen a 10ER cast iron extension table? I got this one on eBay a couple of years ago. It is the only one I have ever seen. It is 3" wide as opposed to the aluminum table that is 4 1/2" wide. It came with the short ER bracket but that doesn't mean that is original. The 10E's had a plywood table but was there a cast iron table some time during the transition to the ER? The only marking is a large number 2 cast on the bottom.

No - no standard Magna part number just the number 2. The bracket has no Magna part number either, just the number 2A. The one long bracket I have that I can look at only has the number 3 cast into it.

Thanks for your compliment on the out feed table. It is a Stanley-Vidmar bench top. I made the legs from 8/4 popular so everything is 4 X 4. Rock solid just like the saw.

John, YES they made them. However, I've NEVER seen one!

i'D like to see one in person, though.

steve
10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
