Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
What!? i wish I had $500, I'd drive 8 hrs for that! I've been wanting a Pro Fence upgrade for my 510 stubby, and turn it back into a full size. If I had that deal, I could have my PP, stubby AND a second machine... Or not. The wife would have my head or something else...algale wrote:520 with a band saw for $500? Madness!

The next time you think your idea is stupid, remember someone in a meeting once said, "let's make a movie about tornadoes full of sharks!"

I'm trying to guess the age -1991 or newer by the headstock. Anyone know what year Shopsmith removed the ribbing from the center of the main table?
I'm hoping the unguarded blade is there only for the pictures.

At that price, it really does not matter!
The lower and upper blade guards are in the pix.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
I've seen the answer to that somewhere else in the forums, but I don't think it was the topic of the thread. I don't remember, but I'm going to guess 1986... just a guess.Mike907 wrote:http://anchorage.craigslist.org/tls/4885742794.html

My 1992 510 has the central ribbing, but from other threads here, it wouldn't be the first time that older versions of parts were used on a new machine.

If you like BLUE ............ and are so rich you don't mind paying 98% too much for what you are buying --- WOW. But, it includes a color matching jointer so perhaps its not that bad a deal. Check this out on ebay --
