Rigid Ocillating Belt/Spindle Sander EB 4424

Post by berry »

I don't know if any of you have this unit, I picked one up 2nd had this winter and really like it.

Anyway...and this may be a no brainer for you guys but I figured out I could use 3 x 24 belts effectively and not the 4 x 24 Rigid calls for - saving a bit of money. In looking at the work I've done haven't needed the 4" belt once.

Be well.

I bought one about 3 or 4 years ago and it is really useful. I pretty much equally use the belts and drums.

So far I've stuck with the recommended size belt but I buy mine from Klingspor's Woodworking Shop. They usually have some belt specials and the price is pretty cheap.
