I got this item with a SS 510 I recently purchased. Can someone tell what it is, how it is used and a part number?

OK James
You have identified it as a Miter Pro. I have located all the pieces but since it has a multitude of holes and slots, do you happen to have a schematic of how this sucker goes together? The picture of the 555404 you posted just leaves you wondering.

Re: What is this?
Really now. By the time I can get a tell tale photograph posted here on the forum, you should have the three pieces (excluding the stop) all mounted. It forms a 90° fence that slides in the miter slot. Maybe there are four pieces if the one shown above does not have the miter rail attached.
