I am 'preparing' for a yard sale and want to create some barcode labels for 'stuff'. Being frugal(cheap) I wonder if anyone knows of a free downloadable simple barcode program.
All I need is maybe a line of description. the bar code and price. The barcode need not actually be either the desc or the price, but just a reference.
Thinking of using plain paper, ink jet printer and scotch 77.

Re: bar code software
JPG,
There are some bar code fonts (the vertical bars only type, not the new q-code) that you can install just like any other font. Type the font in a human readable font then convert the font to bar code. I assume you're using a scanner of some sort, which would mean you'd have to follow the rules related to bar code. Suggest you Google "3 of 9" bar code to find a free font and the rules.
