I saw it on Lumberjocks (the inventor posted about it there). It is an interesting idea.
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!

It would make beautiful corners, but would probably cost a arm and leg. Don't these cheap furniture makers use something like this?
