Here is either a late or really early Mother's Day gift. One pic with flash and one without. Steve Good pattern. Walnut base, oil finish. Cutting, 1/4" BB with blond shellac. Finished size 6 3/4 x 9 x 1/4. (The walnut started our as an 10 x 14 x 3/4 award plaque that someone had pitched and I rescued.)

Re: Mother's Day scroll saw project
That's great! I'm in the process of repairing my Shopsmith Scroll Saw. I hope to be able to get it back together before my rotator cuff surgery next month! That may be the only woodworking I'll be able to do for a while (If I'm lucky)

Re: Mother's Day scroll saw project
Very nice - purchased a super condition 20" newest model shopsmith scroll saw from guy in Lincoln, NE late last year ....... complete with foot pedal switch, light, tons of blades and files, etc. and have collected some various patterns just waiting for winter to fire it up and go to work.
Your very, very nice project gives me wonderful incentive.
Thank you for posting.
