On-Line Parts list does not come close to Part Drawing
I was seeking to build a side by side Drawing for the various Fences for the three versions of tables I prepared previously and encountered problems with what Shopsmith has on-line to order parts for them.
I became quickly confused trying to reconcile Shopsmith's On-Line Illustrated Parts for the Mark V (models 505 510) Fence Service Parts Exploded Diagram with the actual parts listing one orders parts from.
View the on-line drawing as you compare the parts list to order from the attached PDF made from their parts ordering page.

Sorry, the link didn't work and the PDF didn't originally attach.
The PDF is there now and you will have to go to the page directly in the on-line parts view to see what I am talking about as nothing I have yet tried works linking it direct.

Re: On-Line Parts list does not come close to Part Drawing
Maybe I don't understand where the disparity is. When a do a line for line comparison of my parts list and exploded parts diagram, it matches with but one exception with everetts' list.
In the online version of this list, item #223 is labeled 'Fence Post' whereas here it is called 'Fence Rest'.

Then there is this which seems to be the same list with additional information.

I'm still looking for the disparity.

Re: On-Line Parts list does not come close to Part Drawing
So the manuals you have Dusty are correct, the on-line drawing at Shopsmith has parts with no labels, the on-line list of parts has been updated off by one line at some point and is missing two parts that are in the on-line drawing.
JPG, I missed seeing the one line off piece. Someone likely failed to grab the left most column when they pasted in the updates which would not have been an issue if they pasted the updates a line above where they did. Selecting all the columns including the illustration number would have likely prevented it as well.
But look at the two drawings at item 229 between the manual and on-line numbering. It is not the same part. They came close by one line... and missed two parts.

Re: On-Line Parts list does not come close to Part Drawing
Looks like different vintages were used for the parts list and diagram for the 510/505 fence. I'll chase down a copy of the latest and update both to match that.

Dusty, you have to look at what he was looking at(the on line list and view) to 'discover' the disparity.
