Rules for the forum

Post by skidsteer4 »

I am the newest member of the forum. I can't find anywhere in the rules if we are allowed to list used entire systems for sale, or what the correct manner is to let avid Shopsmith people know what I have to offer. Shopsmith Company told me to join the forum. I just dont want to violate any rules.

ANY ONE HERE THAT IS INTERESTED CAN PM YOU. YOU HAVE ALREADY STATED YOU WANT TO 'DISPERSE'. ;)

It would be helpful to know 'where' you are. :)

Thanks for your reply. I am in Monroe, Ohio, which is north of Cincinnati, Ohio. A good bit of the equipment is in Oxford, Ohio in storage, but can be easily accessed. It is time for me to let it all go. My goal is to see someone get it that will use it for many years to come at an extremely fair price.

Dave, I did not mean to break any rules. I used the forum at the suggestion of the people at Shopsmith. They said it was the best way to do what I am trying to do.

Admin, can we have some official guidance. I certainly don't want this to become a buyers/sellers forum but but maybe someone at SS is confused. Is there any guidance sent to new people who join the forum concerning this issue? If not then there should be. If allowed then a separate category could be created.

Clarification may be required but the rules regarding the use of the forum as a market place is already covered.

For sale posts are not permitted. I will remind Shopsmith customer service of that after Labor Day.

Good morning all. I am terribly sorry If I have used the forum in the wrong manner. I am certain that if my father were alive today, he would use it to trade stories and ideas and share the projects he made with his Shopsmith. I have many of the items he built for me over the years.

Please accept my apology for not totally understanding the intent of the forum. As I have stated already, it was at the urging of the folks at Shopsmith that I use the forum to contact the right people.
