Need Prayer Requests

Thanks for all the prayers. They do help me get through each day. I finally got a report on my heart problems on Friday. I have 3 blocked arteries, one at 100%, one at 90% and one at 70% so the doctor did not install any stents as I will need quadruple bypass heart surgery. I had 5 tests done for the heart surgery Fridays at the hospital. We should get a schedule for the surgery today. The doctor has done this procedure on several of our friend parents with good results and his reviews are good. The hospital has a large heart department. I will need a lot more prayers now and will let you know what day will be the surgery. The doctor was amazed that I had not had a heart attack or had any problems other than being tired all the time to where I could only spent a max of 30 minutes each time in my shop. I am on a “do not do anything” now.

OK, my preop is next Monday Sept 28 and the surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday Sept 29. Any prayers will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Trust that "do not anything" order. My dad had that procedure in the late 70's when the procedure was in it's infancy. It gave him 25 years. During his last decade he could do Olympic level athlete condition on the stress test the docs would do annually when in his 70's...

Thank you Bill for giving us an update. You indeed have lots of friends praying for you here. I had it my mind that you were already in the hospital. Sorry for the confusion. You are very respected and loved here as you know. Blessings for an exceptional outcome in your surgery. It sounds like you have a great team on your side. I am very confident that you will feel much better. A good friend had this done two years ago and there is a new spring in their step ever since.

I have not been here for awhile because making sawdust had its priority. Add two more who are praying for your recovery and for the guidance of the doctors. As others have well expressed, your contributions to the Shopsmith community are incredible and certainly needed and appreciated.
