We have Ace Hardware stores here. If you can't find it anywhere else Ace will probably have it. Especially in the hardware department.

Maybe they should bring back the old Connie Stevens adds. :D

Folks, the intent of my post wasn't to get anyone to stop shopping at their favorite local hardware supplier but just to let folks who don't have access to one know that there's a good internet supplier out there.

You are correct. I urge everyone to buy local if you can. When I first got here in Utah (1984) we had a store called Earnst (sp.). For years I said if you can't find it anywhere else Earnst will have it. In most cases that was true. Then they closed.

They don't have square drive wood screws. Far from being the end all of hardware sources.

As a group we do tend to nit pick, criticize and over analyze! Thanks again for pointing out another source. I do shop at my local Ace, but my largesse has it's limits. I want to keep them around, they're good and handy, but some of their stuff is double the price of Lowes, Menards, HD, Fleet Farm, etc.
