10ER ID plate Rivets
Does anyone have a source for the 10ER ID plate grooved rivets and the self tapping screw used on later models?

John,
Skip Campbell at MKC Tools may have a source. Contact him at ssusers@yahoogroups.com
You may be aware that he runs the 10ER Shopsmith Users Group on Yahoo. I bought some stuff from him and visited with him a bit when I picked it up a few months back. If it’s to be had, I would bet he would know where. http://mkctools.com/
Ron Dyck also said in a recent post that Hog Winslow at Hog Winslow Woodworking purchased Bill Mayo's stock of 10ER parts when Bill scaled back his 10ER operations.

Re: 10ER ID plate Rivets
Thanks Everett. I belong to Skip's group and have talked to him on the phone before. I have also bought parts from Tom (Hog Winslow).
I have not contacted either of them yet. I thought I would ask here first.
I bought a copy of PTWFE from Skip that belonged to Hans Goldschmidt. There were two copies in Hans' library. The other copy was signed by R. J. DeCristoforo and Skip didn't want to sell it at the time. When I last talked to Skip he said he was thinking about selling the signed copy. I told him I wanted first dibs. Just give me a price and I will buy it.

The knowledge of what they are called was Bill Mayo's, I just dug out the post in which he imparted it.

Re: 10ER ID plate Rivets
I looked them up on the Fastenal web site and they have the exact one. I called the local store about 5 miles from me. They don't stock them but can get them from their warehouse in California in two days. They are $0.065 each but there is a flat $7.99 shipping fee. They are not shipped commercial they are coming on their own truck that resupplys the store. Go figure? I ordered 10 and it was $8 and change.rpd wrote:You are welcome.jsburger wrote:Thanks Ron!![]()
