upgrade to 1 1/8 hp. Mark V
I need to upgrade my 1957 Mark V to a 1 1/8 hp motor. They want me to order the motor and then they will tell me what other parts I will Need. That's not for me. Can someone tell me what other parts will be needed to do this upgrade.

That would depend upon which motor you currently have. The differences being how is the spring retained on the shaft. If there is a big nut. you will need the retaining clip and washer.
I do not understand the 'need' for an order 'first'.
Realize the motor comes with a bare shaft - no pulley, key, spring,washer/cup nor retaining clip.

My Mark V has the 3/4 hp with the retaining clip to hold the spring and collar
in position. I have all the motor parts but will they fit the 1 1/8 hp?

Suggest you examine them all in case they are not in the best of condition
(or removed without damage).
