Is that area 51?

Have never seen that but have not tried today.

Just tried it and mine is working fine. Could be the area you are looking at is messed up? Assumed you tried to look else where too?

Maybe!

It is really cool when it includes space(stars/black) also.

I happens when you zoom way down and it switches to ground view.

Yep it is 'normal' in downtown Aurora(switches to street view).

Also 'normal' in a field near Sugar Grove(switches to ground view).

However my area is not 'flat'. Large altitude variation.

Here is a 'space' view!

If I zoom down close to the road(a 'blue' one) it switches to street view normally.

Snooped around a little and that area(not 51) has an altitude variation slope greater than 1(150' altitude/100' distance).

Welcome to the Appalachian 'mountains'. :D
