SS bar clamps

Post by ERLover »

I dont doubt these are a good product, SS stuff usually is. Has anyone here have them? Are you happy/impressed with them?
I will need to call them to see what the minimum width for each one is since they dont mention that in there info.
Thanks in advance.

I have three of the 36" clamps. They worked great on the handful of panels that I've glued up with them. The panels came out very true. The final result is probably the same, but I think it's less work and fuss than putting in biscuits for alignment, and then using lots of alternating bar or pipe clamps.

I've also used them on panels that are narrower than the "minimum". I just add one or more spacer boards of the same thickness as the panel boards, and don't glue them. Or if fortune is smiling on you, you can glue up two narrower panels at the same time.

Follow the link that RPD so kindly provided. Look in the table that gives the prices for individual clamps -- NOT sets of three clamps -- and you will see the "minimum" widths given. Just like RPD said.
