You can probably selectively turn off those keyboard shortcuts in a control panel if you want.JPG wrote:Darn programmers that 'think' I need a gazillion 'extra' keystroke options using the keys that are 'in the way'(ctrl, alt, funky flag, spacebar) and the key I really want).![]()

Re: Help
Well, I have a Mac, but since pc's copy just about everything Apple does, I figured there would be a control panel where you can add or change shortcuts. When I am at work Monday I'll look into it on the pc there.

Re: Help
Windows has a control panel, but that is not one of it's functions(or I haven't found it).Bruce wrote:Well, I have a Mac, but since pc's copy just about everything Apple does, I figured there would be a control panel where you can add or change shortcuts. Besides I am not sure it is a windows thingey.

Re: Help
For MS it maybe under keyboard functions in devices.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: Help
I searched "disable Windows keyboard shortcuts" and found some information. It seems Windows may not have an easy way to change shortcuts. There may be a utility that you can get to do it. That would be a question for someone more familiar with Windows than I am. Also, I'm sure the version of Windows you're running matters.JPG wrote:Windows has a control panel, but that is not one of it's functions(or I haven't found it).Bruce wrote:Well, I have a Mac, but since pc's copy just about everything Apple does, I figured there would be a control panel where you can add or change shortcuts.
