I have a few dozen old blades like this that came in a box of stuff. I think I'll have to get a grinder now.

Re: making a card scraper
I have a store bought one and dont use it alot but I think they are suppose to flex a bit to get a slight arc in them when scraping, if so a saw blade maybe a bit to thick/stiff.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

I was wondering about that too. I've heard old hand saws make excellent scrapers and they would have more flex. Although the scraper in the video seemed to work pretty well and I do have a lot of raw materials!

Ya I would think so to about the hand saws, also a store bought scraper is about 10$, a cheap grinder is what 30, but then you have one for other things too, any excuse to get another tool
