Mine is in what is supposed to be a 4th bedroom in the basement. It is 14x14. I put a double door on it to outside, although I don't know why. The second door never gets opened. Well, once when I rolled my Dewalt planer outside on a nice day to plane some boards. The lawn didn't appreciate the sawdust. Next time I'll lay a tarp down. But I digress...

Re: How many sq.ft. is your wood shop?
My shop was as a two car garage, 24x36, so 864 sq.ft. then I ran out of space so built a new car shop 40x60, 2400 sq.ft. Now I use the 864 ft as a wood working shop. Forgot to mention it also has an upstairs I use for storage. I have ample room, but always seem to be short on time....Have to learn to plan better
Re: How many sq.ft. is your wood shop?
168 sq. ft. permanent but I can expand, depending on the temp, and use the garage
Re: How many sq.ft. is your wood shop?
My basement shop is 12.5' x 28', 350 sq. ft. and it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I love it!

Wood shop is 24' x 40' (960 sq. ft.) in part of the basement. I do have a tiny bit of space I could "borrow" if I had to.
We also have a "hobby" area on the main floor a little over 600 sq. ft. Has some exercise stuff, a big work table and several leather sewing machines and other leather work stuff, art stuff etc.
The farm/auto shop is 36'x50' (1800 sq. ft. and not nearly big enough). It also has some woodworking stuff in it yet.
I have a small barn with a 12'x18' room with an overhead door that I want to make into a little shop space as a companion to my little Wood-Mizer sawmill. (Table saw, Radial arm saw, Jointer and a planer). The sawmill sits right outside of the overhead door.

Awesome replies, y'all!
My current wood shop is 10x23 (230 sq.ft.) single bay garage, under my home and the other bay 10x23, holds some wood, but also other household things and my snowblower and my ATV and all of its aftermarket goodies, of which are now all under Mt. Saint Helens ash/sawdust piles!
