Good motels and restruants all close on Miller Lane. The presentations were great in my opinion. I only wish I could have had a cup of coffee without having to leave ShopSmith.

Stephen and I had a great time and learned alot. It was a good opportunity to get away from the women folk (no offense) and the video games. Nick was kind enough to cut and joint a hefty piece of lumber (walnut I think) for Stephen to turn on the lathe.
I agree with the downtime between demos and the lack of coffee. I offered to assist with the planning of the event next year. I'm thinking that some owner's could share some of their experiences with the group in a demo format.
I tried making coffee, but couldn't get either of their machines to work. I have one of those big 30 cup coffe makers that I will bring next year.
Perhaps someone could design a coffee SPT!

Sincerely,

Actually, the down time between the demos was a time I enjoyed, as I got to talk to other owners, Nick, Drew, Jim, and Phil. Picked up a lot in that time.

Besides, everyone is forgetting Bill Mayo's instant seminars on how to rebuild and restructure the various SS into referbed, midis and minis. :D

And Ron's son Stephen had a pretty good time on the lathe with Nick.
