Scroll Saw projects
Here are some ornaments my 10 year old cut out on the scroll saw over the weekend. I helped him sand the edges once he was finished. Happy Holidays!

Well, your ten year old is a better at following lines with a scroll saw than am I! What kind of blades and size are you/he using?delong94 wrote:Here are some ornaments my 10 year old cut out on the scroll saw over the weekend. I helped him sand the edges once he was finished. Happy Holidays!
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!
Re: Scroll Saw projects
We used a #5 ultra reverse Flying Dutchman blade. We got them from www.mikesworkshop.com.

If your 10 year old son didn't live so far away from me, I'd impose myself on you and him to give me lessons.
delong94's son did very good work. Congratulations to both of you

I think scroll saw work is a great way to introduce a young person to the joys of woodworking. What I wouldn't give for a grandchild....

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.
