Shop Smith California Production Plant

Hello and Happy New Year to all!

I'm trying to do some research into the early beginnings of the Shop Smith California manufacturing facility.

Inquiring into the 1948,49 and 1950 era, Does anyone know how many "Shifts" of workers Shop Smith had running the plant?

Would it have been "Three" shifts of workers or just one or two shifts manufacturing the machines???
