Headstock Cradle

Post by tomsalwasser »

It's amazing when googling something related to Shopsmith how many of the results come back to this forum. I want to make a headstock cradle and being the cheap, lazy sot that I am, I want it to be quick, simple, cheap and effective. Nick Engler uses a really nice design in some of his videos but as far as the other characteristics go, this one is it. It came from a November 2010 forum post. I think I've got some scrap in my pile just waiting to become a headstock cradle.

Yup! Your second pictures is Nick Engler's well designed version. My version 2.0 may look like that.
