Cool, my brother who is 67 or 68 does remember them, I dont. He said some would be on during the Tonight Show with Johny Carson. I am guessing they were local spots and not national.

Well, I am 67 but now that I think about I had already had 11 years in the AF and in 1983 I was stationed in Canada. Probably a very good reason I don't remember the ad. :) 1980 to 1984 in Canada.

John, I figured you were some place in the service at that time, and was thinking of a cute remark about serving our country and a lack of TV availability/watch time but could not think of anything. Gee your answered that!!!! ;)

:) :) :) Well, Canada did have TV in the 80s. Just not a lot of American TV.
