SS Pro Planer free standing
So the MS does not sell them any more, and the SS mounted sells for $1400, what did the free standing sell for at last time available?

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

I picked up a new pro planer for 400 bucks earlier this year... Lets just say I didn't wait to visit and pick it up. For $525, I would do the same, get it while its hot! Hopefully soon, I will find time etc. to add to my ss mount manual feed planer a feed motor and control and a home made stand with 1 3/4 hp motor. Got the parts, just need to decide upon the stand. In the mean time, ss power and hand crank feed. I picked freestanding SS Pro Planer up this fall for $450 - and I thought it was a great deal - turns out I was right! It works great!
