What do I need to be able to us my shopsmith lathe accessories on a Delta lathe, such as pen mandrel, live centers? Is there a adapter for this?

Re: Delta lathe
Anything that fits in the tailstock should be the same, (2 Morse taper).
For the headstock the Delta has 2 Morse taper (internal) or 1"-8tpi external, so a Lathe Arbor would let you mount your pen mandrel, drive center, etc. for a scroll chuck it would be best to get new adapter insert.

Re: Delta lathe
If you have a pen mandrel that fits directly on the SS headstock ( IE Penn State Industries ) you can use the SS tailstock chuck adapter to mount the mandrel directly on the Delta Lathe. The SS tailstock chuck adapter is a good thing to have. I also have the PSI 5818 adapter and I use it for my lathe chucks so I can switch between the Delta and the SS. Both of these adapters provide maximum cross compatability.
In fact I am considering getting a second SS adapter.

P.S. My delta is the 46-460 variable speed lathe
