A little patience may be in order if you don't want to buy a new replacement. Tables come up fairly frequently on ebay and I've even seen a tie bar and legs (without the table) from time to time.

On the other hand, it would be rare for a table to come up on CL all by itself and even rarer for just a tie bar/legs to come up on CL.

Well at least you have the option a new part or waiting for one to appear on ebay and win the bid. For now you are stuck for table sawing and drilling so have you any plans to use this as a lathe? Might be a nice time to get started and get a little time on the new machine???

I only occasionally go to ebay for critical parts and then only if I can get them for about half the cost of new . Again you are buying used so condition can be an issue. The point being is if you end up paying anywhere near that amount it might be worth it just get the new part and get on with life.

A shopsmith can be a fun toy as well, here is an example of what I have done for my machine with a spare table:

Thanks Ed, you make very valid points about buying used (Which obviously I just found out) I love your table system! I think I'll be keeping the extra table around for sure now

I'm trying to decide whether to play with the lathe or the bandsaw first... choices choices!

What is "wrong" or less desirable about early rails with holes on the side (access holes for mounting bolts)? I have a 510 with these rails, and can't find a disadvantage. They work smoothly, no catches with the rip fence or extension tubes. They were probably a bit harder for ShopSmith to manufacture.

Has anyone had problems removing the pins and legs from the 510 tie bar?

The two different versions of the 510 rails don't play well together regarding alignment. But whatever version of rails come on the table, she can always remove the the tie bar assembly and attach it her current main table.
