Well, as you implied it depends on your local bearing house. The MRC 203SFF OEM bearings for the A O Smith 1/2HP motor were $10.67 each from A&W Bearings in Huston (Skip Campbell's source). My local source Motion Industries was 11.70. Cheaper considering shipping.
However, the OEM Fafnir bearings for the quill and drive sleeve were much cheaper from A & W. About $10 a bearing. Their customer service is as good as SS. I talked to Lana the sales manager and asked her if she had ever talked to Skip. She said oh yeah I talk to him often. Good enough for me.
Of course, if you don't want to spend the money for original bearings then the above does not matter. There is Chinese junk that will fit.
