What is waste wood?

After completing my scroll saw I found this in a pile from the edge of a shelf. Needed a bit of trimming but there it was. Amazing what you find just laying around.

3 layered ornament, check one special order complete. Lol. Not bad for solid hard maple.

OK, is it just me, or does that really depicts Mom & baby seals and goats cavorting on a star-lit tropical beach, under the watchful gaze of a sex goddess?

That's what you see in this picture of a piece of scrap wood? Hmmm interesting... I just saw a vision of someone making Christmas ornaments in February. I think we both need therapy for what was seen in that piece of scrap wood.

Ok ! We have a brand new version of the Rorschach test for woodworkers. With this bunch this is going to get interesting !
