He did say is was a "discovery build", (ie proof of concept), and not a finished product. :)
It is entirely possible that he will make a more refined version based on this design.

I used to watch Izzy's videos, in the early days he had some great ones (like making a bowl with a table saw). Since he became a shill for FastCap I rarely watch.

And I bet you don't watch the news because those people are shills for the TV channel. What about the Tarheels? Do you watch them since they became shills for UNC? Your logic makes some sense. If they get paid for using their skills then they are shills and shouldn't be trusted (or watched). Oh, wait! The Tarheels don't get paid do they.

You don't mind the commercials for FastCap, which is good. It bugs me, mostly since over time I developed an allergy to cyanoacrylate glue accelerator, which he pushes in most vids. I hope he does not develop a similar allergy from using it in such large quantities. Do it outside, with good ventilation, keep it off your skin.

A person engaged in covert advertising. The shill attempts to spread buzz by personally endorsing the product in public forums with the pretense of sincerity, when in fact he is being paid for his service
