I went to report a spam post today. When you report a post there is an option to select the reason. Today I noticed that among the choices given is "Post is off topic" or words to that effect. I don't recall that being an option previously. Is it new or did I miss it?
If new, I certainly like it -- although admin may end up pretty overworked dealing with all the reported off topic posts.

Seriously, though, I think that only the OP should decide if a given post is off-topic. Personally, I welcome most any contribution to my threads, as long as they are made in a positive spirit. They often lead to interesting places.
But I know that others here prefer to keep things more structured. I do respect that, and try to stay strictly on-topic on their threads, or on any thread that is clearly focused on providing specific information.
