Texas Shopsmith Users & Border States

Post by everettdavis »

Following Dusty's lead for members in Arizona, and considering the scope of the geographic size of Texas, I have attached a map of Texas broken up into regions, realizing that we will have folks in Border States of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana that may choose to weigh in.

I for example am in the Texas Panhandle, but I frequent North, West and Central Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Are there folks here who are interested in possibly meeting other users face to face, swapping war stories etc., who will choose to self identify their region?

Make sure you put your email address in your contact information of your profile if you are open to the idea and would not mind being contacted by email.

Wish you were closer. I'll be through there around 4/5 or 4/6. Would have been neat to meet for coffee.

I have no problem coming to Amarillo to meet you for coffee.

It's all Interstate coming up. Let me know when and where and I will see if I can make it happen with my schedule.

Indeed.

I spoke to my wife about a quick trip to Amarillo to meet Gene, and about one I have in the planning stages to come to New Mexico later this year to meet you guys.

Everett,
I'm headed to MS in April and need to be there by the 8th. My Dr. hasn't scheduled it yet, but sometime in mid to late March, I'll have some radiation treatments for a spot of cancer on the prostate. The after effects are being very tired for a few weeks. Not good for a driving trip of that distance. So, I may end up having to fly to MS. His office just called yesterday to schedule the prelim stuff. The timeline looks tight so, most likely I'll fly.
Sorry to get us both revved up. Maybe Later in New Mexico.

Gene,

Prayers for your health, continued recovery, and for restoration of your strength and vitality.

You take care of your health first, and I will take whatever opportunities present themselves to meet you sometime in the future.

Blessings,

Everett
