I waited two years for them to return to San Antonio and it was a bust...
There was a demo this last weekend at Lowes 11718 i.h. 35 North
San Antonio, TX 78233. Just to be sure, I pulled the orders taken this past weekend. Perhaps the LOWES manager was confused???
Perhaps the wrong one? ;)

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

The dot up and to the right of location B is the one that matches the listed address. I dunno if that helps anyone.

Lowe's map seems to show it a bit further out. Looks like it is on 35 about half-way between highways 410 and 1604.

I'll have to admit I'm not too familiar with San Antonio. In this case, I just took the address Lowe's listed for their store.

Just for clarification not only did I talk to the manager, I walked two laps around the store. Down by the tool, through the lumber to the center row, out to the garden center, back through the lawn chairs where I left my wife (she was tired of walking) and back to the tools area. The whole time looking both directions down the rows. I did this twice... at 1130 on Saturday the 20th. There was no Shopsmith demo at the Lowes at the intersection of 3009 (Roy Richards drive)and interstate 35. There was no display, no Mark 7, no Shopsmith van in the parking lot, nothing. I was going to buy a new unit and get the 10 percent discount through LOWES. So much for the dream of owning a NEW unit....

Since we have come to a point of no return here I think the next step is to contact Mike (who we think was the demo person)and get your order placed. I'm sure he will understand and perhaps explain what happened as well.

E:Mail Myoung@shopsmith.com / Phone 208 761-8288

Let us know how that turns out.

So from what I have gathered we have only one person doing demos at this point, that being Mike. With the addition of the seminars I can see this as being a busy schedule for him.

It is too bad that you missed the demo but I can see how it would easy to do. There are more than just a couple in San Antonio.

The one you wanted to go to, I believe, is on the north east side of San Antonio (out towards Live Oak).
