Squirrel proof feeder I use on sale at Menards

This it the bird feeder I use and it has foiled the squirrels to the point they have given up. I didn't think that was in their nature but that is what has happened.

I have two of these so I don't need or want anymore but that is a pretty good price point, equal to or with in cents of what I paid.

I have that one and it is, even if they jump on the top it is slippery and curved enough that they pretty much just slide off. I had one that would do that and grab at the shut of plate and get a few seeds on the ground to eat, but gave up on it after a bit.
I also fitted a piece of 1/4in ply to divide it, sunflower seeds on one side, finch food on the other.
Now that I have a feeder they cant get into the bird food last 3 times longer.

If you have managed to discourage squirrels, you have a winner there. Squirrels are as persistant a pest as mosquitoes so if you beat them, you WON!
